Our mission is: To better our neighborhood through citizen action. All West End residents and property owners are members of the neighborhood association.

The association is led by an 11-member board. Board members are elected by the general membership at our annual general meeting in May and serve two-year terms. Officers are elected by the board in June. Five are elected in odd years and six in even years.
The current board is as follows:

Justin Buckley
Hello WENA neighbors! I’m Justin Buckley and have recently joined the WENA board. I’m honored to serve an organization with an engaged, passionate group of people. I have lived in Boise for 10 years with 8 of those in the West End. There has been quite a bit of growth and change in the years since I moved into the neighborhood and I want to have a voice in how we grow and adapt to change into the future.
You have likely met me at HalloWENA, National Night Out, or walking around the tree-lined streets of our neighborhood. I was drawn to transitioning from volunteer to WENA board member to continue the community building and neighborhood improvements accomplished so far. As far as the future, I’m most interested in getting to know my neighbors, welcoming new people into the neighborhood, and supporting efforts to increase a connectivity for pedestrians and bicycles.
The things I appreciate most about the West End are Esther Simplot Park, the Boise River Greenbelt, the proximity to downtown, and lastly the people. I look forward to serving on the board and making our neighborhood even better.
