Fairview Park Construction

In a few days construction begins on the Fairview Park renovation. For more information about the Fairview Park improvements, click here.

From City of Boise’s project manager Jason Miller, the construction schedule is as follows:

  • The project begins on July 15 and is expected to be complete by the end of the year.
  • The park website will be updated as the project progresses.
  • The contractor is working with ACHD and there will need to be intermittent closures on Bannock as the ADA access is installed.  Notifications will be per ACHD requirements.
  • Construction hours are 7 to 6:30 weekdays and 8 to 6:30 on weekends with prior approval.  No weekend work has been requested to date.

Construction fencing should be installed by Friday, July 11. The southeast corner of the park will not be affected by the renovation project.

WENA Board Meeting – July 15

The board meeting Tuesday, July 15, at 6:30PM at the First Congregational United Church on 23rd between Woodlawn and Pleasanton. The agenda is here.

New Board officers are President Justin Buckley, Vice President Lauren Pennisi, Treasurer/Secretary Andrea Bogle.

National Night Out – August 5

The board is leaning toward skipping this year’s involvement with this community event because Fairview Park construction that will be underway. More to come about the board’s final decision.
